S&S Worldwide was founded in 1906 as S&S Leather and dealt in scrap leather that was used to make small handicrafts. Over the years S&S added additional crafts and craft supplies and began serving camps, municipal park and recreation programs and other institutional customers. In the early 1990's, S&S Leather became S&S Worldwide, reflecting the wider spectrum of the products and services offered by this expanding company. S&S Worldwide prints a "master" catalog of over 500 pages, as well as specialty catalogs targeting different customer segments. With thousands of products kept in inventory, S&S has grown considerably and also produces and manufactures many of the company's proprietary products and designs.
